About Meditation

Our first reason for meditating might be that we want some relief from feelings of stress, worry and so on. But meditation is much more than a way to relax and relieve stress. It is a method to experience the most   profound aspects of reality and ourselves. With practice, we develop deeper understanding of reality.

We learn to go beyond our usual thought process, encountering deeper dimensions of our own mind. At that point, we become less dominated by certain mental and emotional habits.

By overcoming habitual reactions, the quality of our life changes. We begin to encounter life with greater calm, increased clarity and with greater appreciation.
